The fauna of the American Pacific Northwest is so fascinating, wouldn't you say?

Oh, well. Even if you wouldn't say, then. That's why I'm here, you know; I'm writing a book about it. Fauna, that is. Perhaps flora, too, if any presents itself.

What's that? Flora doesn't "present itself?" Oh, my dear sir, I don't know what kind of flora you've been studying.

Oh, well. It was lovely talking to you! Do please look me up the next time you're in the Quarter; I've rooms down the lane from the Troll Bridge. I can't promise I'll be there, of course -- I am a field naturalist, you see, and there aren't many fields in Fremont -- but there's a rather nice Yank boy who has the flat below mine, and I'm sure he'd be more than happy to pass along a message!
